The second search
Here is the moment we build for. Someone reads your profile, likes what they see, and opens a new tab. They type your name. What happens next decides whether the profile's good impression survives contact with Google.
They find one of three things. A panel about you, with your photo, a short description and your profiles tied together, which settles the question before it is asked. A thin page of results, which raises a small doubt. Or someone else with your name, which raises a bigger one. Most founders we speak to have never looked at their own name signed out, so they do not know which of the three their buyers see.
Search your name in a private window, then answer the questions. The route decides the work, the time and whether you need anyone at all.
Search it on Google in a new tab
When you search your full name signed out, does a panel appear beside the results, or at the top on a phone?
If a panel appears, is it about you, with the right photo and role?
If no panel appears, does someone else with your name fill most of page one?
If page one is close to empty, we wrote a separate piece on what to build when nothing comes up for your name. It is the same order of work at a smaller scale.
Why your profile and your panel have to agree
Google reads LinkedIn as one of the better descriptions of a working person, because it is where people describe their own jobs and where colleagues confirm them. It is one witness, though, not the verdict. A panel appears when LinkedIn, your own site and the pages other people publish about you all tell the same story.
| Field | Make it identical everywhere | What goes wrong |
|---|---|---|
| Name | One spelling, one form, middle initial or not | Three versions across five sites |
| Photo | The same image file, not just a similar photo | A different headshot on every platform |
| Headline | The same first eight words on LinkedIn and your site | The site says advisor, LinkedIn says founder |
| City | One city, the one you want to be known in | LinkedIn says Mumbai, the speaker bio says Pune |
| First line of About | Your identity sentence, word for word | A quote or a story where the plain sentence should be |
| Link | One link, to a page on your own domain | A link-in-bio page Google cannot treat as you |
The six fields that set the pattern. Our ordered profile checklist covers the rest of the profile.
Why the panel changes how a personal brand is read, before anyone has spoken to you.
The About section matters more than most people think, because its first line is the sentence other sites copy when they write about you. Our annotated About examples for consultants show the difference between a first line that travels and one that does not.
What we do on each route
| Work | Route one: claim | Route two: separate | Route three: build |
|---|---|---|---|
| Written read of your name and your route | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Identity sentence and four bios with matching openings | Light edit | Yes | Yes |
| A page about you on your own domain, with the code underneath | Check and fix | Yes | Yes |
| LinkedIn and every other profile brought into line | Yes | Yes, plus clear differences from the namesake | Yes |
| Outside mentions repeating your identity line | Optional | Yes, more of them | Yes |
| Claim packet for your own Google account | Yes | When the panel is yours | When the panel appears |
| A dated record of what three AI assistants say about you | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Route two takes the longest because the record has to be made distinct, not just complete.
If someone with your name already has a panel, we never touch their records. Editing another person's entry to make room for you is the fastest way to get your own work rejected. We make yours unmistakable instead: a different description, a different city, a different body of work, all said consistently.
When ChatGPT is asked about you
More buyers now ask an assistant instead of typing into Google. The assistant builds its answer from the same public record Google reads, which is why a messy record produces a confident wrong answer, or the wrong person, and a clean one tends to produce you.
Being named across the web tracked AI Overview visibility about three times as strongly as backlinks in that study. Mentions that say your name correctly, in your words, are the raw material. We wrote more on why AI never names you when someone asks for the best and on whether ChatGPT reads your LinkedIn profile at all.
Fill in your name and what you do. Copy each prompt into ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, and save the answers with today's date. That is your baseline.
The record behind this page
Panels our team built, each with the link that opens the live result. Some are fully formed, some are still filling in. We show both, because that is what the work honestly looks like a few months in.

How long it takes, by route
The honest summary: if a panel already shows and it is yours, this is quick. If it does not exist, our part takes 60 to 90 days and Google's part takes longer. If someone else owns your name on Google today, plan in years, not months, and judge progress by page one rather than by the panel.
Who this suits, and what it costs
- Founders and senior people whose deals start with a LinkedIn profile visit
- You have a real body of work that is just scattered or inconsistent
- You can give us an hour at the start and quick answers after
- You have not settled what you want to be known for. Start with positioning
- You need it by a fixed date
- You want reviews or press invented
There is no price on this page because the route sets the size of the job. Send your name and you get the written aha first. The scope and a fixed fee follow only if you ask for them. If you would rather run it yourself, the DIY version starts from your LinkedIn profile and walks the same route.
